Be sure and copy the URL (address) from the login screen of your website and paste it into the URL slot in KeePass. If we implement customizable hotkeys one day, this might be included, but we will not implement hotkey customizations because of this. Then choose the I ntegration tab and type Ctrl-Alt-Q (or whatever shortcut key you like) in the Auto-type selected entry box. There has been a handful of vocal people wanting the old hotkey back, but the vast majority has just moved on. If the dialog opens but is empty, then KeePass did not find a matching entry. This forces KeePass to display the 'Auto-Type Entry Selection' dialog when the Ctrl+Alt+A hotkey is pressed. (KeePass Tools>Options>Advanced tab>Auto-Type, the first check-box is checked. Open KeePass and pull down the Tools menu and select Options. One way to check this is to check Always show global auto-type entry selection dialog in Tools>Options.>Advanced (tab)>Auto-Type (sections). KeePass Tools>Options>Integration tab, the System-wide hot keys fields are grayed-out and contain text that says "None" (for Global auto-type, Show KeePass window, and Auto-type selected entries). Wrapper utility to open a KeePass DB or trigger the Auto-Type Feature. If I select Perform Auto-type icon from KeePass Toolbar for an entry, it works fine. If I right-click on KeePass entry and select Perform Auto-type, it works fine. Problem: KeePass System-wide Hot Keys for Global Auto-type is not working all other KeePass features seem to work fine. Added custom shortcut in Keyboard settings for Gnome used KeePass default "Control-Alt-A" as hot key. Either use a delay or configure Keepass to switch back to the last window before typing. Also make sure that the Hyper-V connection window is not in foreground when using the auto-type shortcut, as it will be forwarded to the virtual machine. Installed KeePass (and dependencies) using Fedora repository (YUM command line install). Try running Keepass or your AHK/Autoit script as administrator. Environment: Fedora 20 64bit, Gnome 3.10.2, KeePass v2.27, mono and xdotool installed.
